Bella and the Bulldogs [2] (formerly known as Bella and the Bullfrogs) is an upcoming Nickelodeon series due to air in 2015. [3] Nickelodeon announced that it ordered 12 episodes for the show.
Premise
The series follows a perky cheerleader (Brec Bassinger) whose life in Texas takes an unexpected twist when she becomes the new quarterback for her school team, the Bulldogs. Bella is joined by “The Troy” (Coy Stewart), the Bullfrogs’ dethroned quarterback along with his pint-sized sidekick, Newt (Buddy Handleson). Rounding out the cast are Lilimar Hernandez as Sophie, Bella’s cheerleader best friend: Jackie Radinsky as true southern cowboy, Sawyer; and Haley Tju as Pepper.
